Apress eBooks · 2008

In this chapter, we discuss the Oracle Cluster File System (OCFS), which is an open source cluster file system provided by Oracle for use with Linux, Windows, and, most recently, Solaris. In the following chapter, we will discuss ASM, which provides similar functionality, but also includes volume management capabilities, such as disk balancing and redundancy. These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors. This process is experimental and the keywords may be updated as the learning algorithm improves.
