PLOTTING AND GRAPHS FOR ALL

Rebekah B. Esmaili · Special publications · 2021

Scientists need to communicate their results through plots. Tutorials in this chapter show the fundamentals of making plots using the Matplotlib package. Matplotlib is one of the oldest and well-supported visualizations packages within Python, and can support plotting data as histograms, bar plots, scatter plots, mesh plots, and contour plots. With a few lines of code, Matplotlib allows users to quickly customize aesthetics, such as fonts and color maps and combine data on a single plot or a panel of several plots.
