In Brief The latest Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America survey shows a total of 395 cancer-related medicines in the pipeline—70 for lung cancer, 49 for breast cancer, 48 for colorectal cancer, and 44 for prostate cancer, and selected others for kidney, pancreatic, brain, skin, ovarian, and other cancers, as well as those designed to improve the quality of life for people undergoing cancer treatment.
