Bhavani Thuraisingham · Auerbach Publications eBooks · 2005
The previous chapter discussed multilevel data modeling issues. Note that two of the important aspects of database management are data modeling and database functions. In this chapter we discuss the security impact on the various database functions. Our focus is on MLS/DBMSs. Furthermore, in our discussions we mainly focus on the relational data model discussed in Chapter 9. However, many of the arguments apply to nonrelational database systems also.
