Kaspersky asks for decryption help

Anti-virus firm Kaspersky has launched an international effort to thwart the authors of the ransomware Gpcode virus. The company is calling on researchers, cryptography experts and other anti-malware firms to help it crack an encryption key used by the software, which locks up a victim's files until a payment has been made.
