There are creasingly many stances of dividuals and stitutions becoming fected with the clination to undate the vocabulary of our language with words from which the two letters in have been deleted ( see Physics Bulletin February 1969 p. 76 col. 3). The tention of the dividuals concerned is to remove the purported herent confusion arising from the use of a word beginning with in- whose terpretation is positive.
