HID Global to support biometrics for access control on NFC smartphones

HID Global plans to support its iClass digital keys and mobile secure identity on near field communication (NFC)-enabled BlackBerry smartphones. iClass contactless smart card technology supports multiple applications such as biometric authentication, cashless vending and PC log on security.
