Quantum methods offer faster chips ALight intensity on an square area of one wavelength on a side.The simulated features have a structure much smaller than the wavelength size, which is passible using quantum entanglement.Researchers at the University of Wales, Bangor, UK, and the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California, USA, are demonstrating that it might be possible to produce smaller, and therefore faster, integrated circuits using photons rather than focused light beams.
