The AutoFill feature in Microsoft Excel is one of the most sought after feature. It can automatically fill in cells of the excel sheet with commonly used series such as numbers, months, and days of the week or with custom lists the user is creating. This chapter demonstrates how to use the drag handle and other ways to fill in the required information. The AutoFill option recognizes days and dates. This feature initiates with selecting two adjacent cells and releasing the mouse. The user can click and drag down the column and Excel will continue the initial two-cell series for him/her.
