Aerospace instrumentation advances on two broad fronts: transducers and measurement techniques, and data processing. The need to measure new parameters and to achieve greater accuracies is the principal spur to the development of new types of transducers, and this is matched by a complementary need for means of handling these data which are capable of comparable standards of accuracy.
