Paris airports choose biometrics

Roissy Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports in Paris, France, are to implement a fingerprint-based identity control system to control access of staff to secure areas. The project will affect 90,000 people across the two airports and has more than 100 fixed and 15 mobile security checkpoints. Overall the project is believed to be the largest such system in Europe.
