Mac gets first serious malware

Apple's OS X platform may have encountered its first serious malware infection. Russian anti-virus firm Dr Web claimed that around 600,000 Macs have been infected with the Flashback botnet trojan (aka Flashfake). This represents perhaps as much as 1% of all Macs.
