Four-fold increase in DDoS attacks

In its latest ‘State of the Internet’ report, for Q3 2014, Akamai's Prolexic Security Engineering and Research Team (PLXsert) claims that Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks have increased four-fold, year-on-year.
