LayOut Tools

This chapter describes every tool of LayOut in detail. The methods discussed in the chapter apply to all the geometry in LayOut, including lines, rectangles, circles, arcs, polygons, and so on. Use the Drawing tools to add geometry, symbols, annotations, title blocks, and decorations to LayOut presentation. The Modification tools are used to change geometry that is already created. Annotation tools give the ability to explain the graphics in 2D presentation. The Select tool is used to set up many other operations within LayOut. Tables in LayOut format and behave similar to a spreadsheet regarding formatting, without all the math. Unlike SketchUp, there are true vector circles in LayOut, so there is no need to enter the number of sides. Just as in SketchUp, the focal point of navigation is the cursor.
