Some might say that Silverlight is Microsoft’s version of Adobe’s Flash and Flex products. This doesn’t really do it justice, though. Silverlight has a number of compelling features that make it an ideal choice for creating web applications with the functionality traditionally only found in desktop applications. These applications are known as Rich Internet Applications (or RIA to its friends). These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors. This process is experimental and the keywords may be updated as the learning algorithm improves.
