Designing Document-Oriented Databases with Couchbase

David S. Ostrovsky, Mohammed M. Haji, Yaniv Rodenski · Apress eBooks · 2015

One of the biggest challenges when moving from relational databases to NoSQL is the shift one needs to make in the way one designs a database solution. Considering the fact that most NoSQL solutions differ from one another, this change of mindset can become frustrating. This chapter covers how to design a database using Couchbase’s style of document-oriented design mixed with key-value capabilities. These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors. This process is experimental and the keywords may be updated as the learning algorithm improves.
