Many key management schemes have been proposed to ensure the security of communication in wireless sensor networks, which aims to balance the contradictory relationship among energy overhead and network's resilience. In this paper, a novel key-distributed scheme based on sub-regions division is proposed for distributed wireless sensor networks. Firstly, using the characteristics that the signals are in the form of a circle to transmit, we can form many sub-regions with a circular boundary. Secondly, a certain amount of bivariate symmetric polynomials will be distributed to nodes by sub-region. Finally, we choose the hash function value which is generated by all the common bivariate symmetric polynomials of the two communication nodes as the session keys. It ensures any two adjacent nodes can communicate securely. The simulation results show that our scheme can reduce the average energy consumption by about 27.6%-60.1% compared with traditional scheme and the invulnerability of our scheme is better.
