DoD HQ enhances security

The US Department of Defence has made moves to tighten IT security at its Washington, DC based headquarters by implementing fingerprint recognition devices on desktops throughout its offices. The supplier of the devices is US-based biometrics company DigitalPersona, who said the DoD has purchased 1300 U.are.U Pro fingerprint recognition systems. This is a short news story only.
