Appendix: Internet Software

Much of the software described in this book is in the public domain and can be obtained through Internet. There are two main modes of access: electronic mail and ftp. The netlib software library can be accessed by electronic mail. This library includes software written by academic researchers and software that is described in the journal ACM Transactions on Mathematical Software.
