Distributed interNet Applications (Windows DNA) architecture, the Microsoft Corporation has created a framework that allows businesses to more easily build new systems that take advantage of the capabilities of the personal computer and the opportunities presented by the Internet while integrating with existing systems. This chapter outlines how a new breed of applications can be delivered in retail banking using Windows DNA and the new Windows DNA for Financial Services (Windows DNA FS) while using existing systems and implementing “best-of-breed” solutions.
