We prove that the binary code C C of length 120 120 related to a self-orthogonal 5 5 - ( 120 , 24 , 8855 ) (120,24,8855) design is self-dual and has minimum distance d = 24 d=24 (i.e. C C is extremal) or d = 16 d=16 .
