MySQL Setup
Gareth Downes-Powell · Apress eBooks · 2003
In this chapter, you’ll learn how to install the popular open source database, MySQL. MySQL was created by MySQL AB and is free to download from the MySQL web site at http://www.mysgl.com /. We’ll explain how to install and set up a local MySQL server, so that you can use and work with MySQL databases while you’re developing your site, without needing to be connected to the Internet. These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors. This process is experimental and the keywords may be updated as the learning algorithm improves.
