Institute advises on how to stop spoofs

The Biometrics Institute has released new guidance for users on how to prevent spoofing attacks on their biometric systems. The guide focuses on presentation attack detection (PAD) and liveness detection – advising users on how to prevent hackers using a printed photo, recorded image or video, a 3D mask or fake silicone fingerprints to fool biometric sensors.
