Hate Groups

Introduction “He didn’t kill me, but he did kill the person I was” (Holmes and Holmes, 2009a). This was a statement made by a woman at a rape crisis center talking with other women who too had been raped. She further added that she was never the same person as she had been before the rape. Her rapist was her boyfriend who believed that her “no” actually meant “yes.” Ignoring the twenty women in the group that night, she looked directly at author Ronald Holmes when she added, “A ‘no’ in a shout or a whisper still means ‘no’.”
