The Hamilton Sundstrand business of UTC Aerospace Systems has been contracted by the US Office of Naval Research to demonstrate an energy-dense, air-independent power system for an undersea vehicle, as part of ONR's Long-Endurance Undersea Vehicle Propulsion (LEUVP) Program.
