As we have mentioned, usually experimental data are of an indirect character. e functions Z describing the investigated object are related to the experimentally obtained data U by the equation AZ = U, where A represents the operator determined by the investigation method used. ere are two approaches for solving this equation: In the rst approach, the inverse operator А-1* is found and the solution is given by the equation Z = А-1U. In the second approach, the functional AZ U* − is minimized, where Z* is the model providing the approximate description of Z.
