INTRODUCTION On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we delighted to welcome all participants to the International Conference on Information and Communication Technology (IConICT) 2017 which took place from July 15 to August 25. This conference is the first special conference that combines the field of information and communication technology which was held in Medan, Indonesia. With a very interesting program, this forum became the main medium of discussions, dissemination and research achievement in related fields. Nearly 200 academics, researchers, practitioners and presenters from 6 countries have gathered and 106 papers abstract and full papers have been submitted in this year's conference. Each paper was reviewed with tight criteria from our invited and voluntary multinational reviewers. Based on the review results, 52 papers have been accepted, which lead to an acceptance rate of 49.05%. All accepted papers were orally presented in 3 technical sessions and was published in the conference proceeding. List of figures are available in this PDF.
