A Multi-channel PCM Sound Receiver For Satellite Broadcasting

A prototype common indoor receiving unit for the two similar multi-channel PCM sound broadcasting systems that respectively use the broadcasting satellite and the communication satellite in the 12 GHz band, has been developed. The features of the receiver are such that advanced technologies such ss the high-speed Viterbi soft decision and the MSK (Minimum Shift Keying) demodulator are adopted.
