Olim palm scanning system tracks ER admissions

Olim Technologies has launched a biometric palm scanning system, TIM, which tracks emergency hospital patient admissions by palm scan and logs the scan into a database. It checks for any previous visits to all local emergency departments. If concerning behaviour is detected, a popup will alert the emergency department.
