The Quantification of Multiplicative Classes

Inhelder, Brbel & Piaget, Jean · 2013

So far we have been studying the development of multiplicative schemata and this part of our analysis corresponds to the studies reported in chs. I, II and IV for the addition of classes. Once again, we can go on to consider the quantification o f multiplicative classes, just as we studied that of additive classes in ch. I ll and in one section of ch. IV. As before, our chief concern will now be the use of “some” and “all” to quantify the relation of class-inclusion, the only difference being that the classes in question must form part of a cross-classification or a simple intersection.
