Nowadays the central paradigm of intelligent technologies is data analysis. Systems, the core of which is the knowledge base or domain model, are called intelligent. They are designed to solve the difficult problems where a logical information processing dominates the computer. The most common type of intelligent systems are expert systems (ES). Expert systems are programs that operate with the knowledge in a defined subject area in order to make recommendations or solution.Features CLIPS naturally make it suitable for use in education, in medicine, in technology, in production, in economics and other fields.
