The web remains a dangerous place, according to the latest quarterly malware report from Kaspersky. In an echo of Google's recent paper on the rise of web-based malware (see pg.3), Kaspersky's report for Q2 2011 lists exploit kits, bots, ransomware and trojans and the most frequently detected malicious objects online.
