Scoreboarding

This chapter introduced the concept of scoreboarding and presented different approaches for configuring scoreboards. A generic implementation of a scoreboard was presented and approaches for connecting a scoreboard to the verification environment were discussed. Multistep and end-to-end scoreboarding strategies were introduced along with their advantages and disadvantages in the context of migrating from a module to system level verification.
