Welcome to the 30 th edition of the IEEE Requirements Engineering Conference (RE'22), the flagship conference of the international RE community, where researchers, practitioners, and students meet and share advances in technology, broadcast innovations, and address challenges of requirements for software and systems that support our society.When we started to plan for RE'22, we hoped to make this the first RE conference after the pandemic to allow meeting in person again.However, the pandemic resolved not as quickly as we expected and it became clear that it cannot be held in person in Australia, as this would entail extensive quarantine.Thus, the conference is online with all presentations given live (i.e., synchronously).
