Structure of the Fixed-point Set of Asymptotically Regular Mappings in Uniformly Convex Banach Spaces

It is shown that the set of fixed-points of some asymptotically regular mappings in uniformly convex Banach spaces is not only connected but even a retract of a domain. The results presented in this paper improve and extend some results in [11, 13].
