LIL8/V2: a list interpretive language for the MCS-8 microcomputer
S. Bourret · 1974
A list interpretive language designed for microcomputer-based programmable control systems is described. The purpose is to create an easily understood method for scientific personnel to program an MCS-8 microcomputer-controlled chemistry system, via teletype. An interrupt capability, a special instruction set, and the ability to read and punch paper tapes of the user's programs are available. In effect, this program simulates a different computer architecture; an entirely new instruction set, I/0, and interrupt capability result. At present there are twenty-one instructions, the special interrupt option, and the ability to process sublists. New users' instructions are very easily added.
