Cybercrime centre
Computer Fraud & Security · 2012
The UK has confirmed that it is to contribute £2m a year to the new cybercrime centre. The Centre for Global Cyber-Security Capacity Building will be supported by a group of eight UK universities – Oxford, UCL, Southampton, Queen's Belfast, Lancaster, Bristol, Imperial College and Royal Holloway of London – which will provide expertise and resources to businesses at home and abroad. It's hoped it will become a central co-ordinating hub for fighting cybercrime.
