US Navy awards $99.4m multimodal biometrics contract

The US Navy has awarded a $99.4m contract for multimodal biometric technology to six contractors. American Systems Corp, Booz Allen Hamilton, Honeywell Technology Solutions, Ideal Innovations, Science Applications International and Scientific Research Corp are each being awarded an ‘indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee, with provisions for firm-fixed-price task orders, performance based contract’.
