Arnt Lykke Jakobsen · 2006
The process of translating a text from one language into another language is complex. Using the computer to record a translator’s keystrokes provides a window onto the process. The chapter presents the computer keystroke-logging tool, Translog, which was specifically developed for researching the translation process. The motivation and development of Translog is outlined, the research undertaken is overviewed and the future research and development directions are presented.
