The paper presents a flow-based mathematical model of fault-tolerant routing of multicast flows. The optimal primary and backup paths are calculated by implementing path and bandwidth protection schemes within the model for each multicast flow. The analysis of obtained solutions was carried out in work. The model's operability for implementing the specified protection schemes and their optimality according to variants of the used routing metrics has been confirmed. The proposed mathematical model can be used to develop protocols for fault-tolerant multicast routing of multimedia flows.
