Modification of the frost speckle-noise filter for solving problems of radar data processing

A study of the smoothing properties of the Frost speckle-noise filter on the simulated radar images was conducted. A variant of the filter modification is proposed, which allows significant reducing computational costs. Based on a comparative analysis of the filtration procedures, recommendations for the filter application to the radar image processing tasks are given.
