Many of us already deal a lot with robots in our everyday. What is the key tenet in the interaction with them? Theorists concentrate a lot on the intelligibility of machines, but in practice it looks like their way of reacting to our bodies would be more important for our engagement with them . “ Normal cars ” often host stressed human drivers who have been programmed with barely ethical traffic ideologies, but the robot car is “ obsessively interested ” in saving us – reacting fast if anyone walks on the street. Like our bodies react emphatically to what we see on screen, they also react to the way robots react to us .
