In this paper we analyze the issues of detecting trajectories of radar objects. We consider implementation of "track-before-detect" (TBD) methods of sequential and block type, implementing procedures for detecting trajectories and preliminary evaluation of their parameters. We analyze the influence of radar survey frequency on the effectiveness of the implementation of multi-scanning observation methods (TBD methods). As indicators of comparative analysis, we consider: the time of detection of trajectories, the quality of the obtained trajectory information, the features of the implementation of TBD methods at high and low frequency of survey (observations). We analyze the variants of multi-scanning observations of different periodicity to solve the detection-measurement problem based on the available a priori information. We substantiate the rational choice of radar observations frequency for the implementation of sequential and block-type TBD methods.
