Cycle Lengths of Finite Cyclotomic Mappings

We examine several classes of finite cyclotomic mappings and derive necessary and sufficient conditions for polynomials of these classes to have a cycle length dividing a given integer k.In particular, we give necessary and sufficient conditions for any cyclotomic mapping of index 4 or fewer to have cycle length dividing k in terms of the values of the function f (x s ).
