A large proportion of the multiblock methods are available as software implementations both in open source software and through commercial software packages. This chapter describes the R package multiblock. This package includes methods that are unique to the package and imports a large range of methods from other packages. Overviews of basic package usage and included methods are split into the following: installing and starting the package, data handling, basic methods, unsupervised methods, simultaneous component analysis (ASCA), supervised methods, and complex data structures. The chapter shows briefly how to read data from selected data formats, perform basic preprocessing, and prepare blocks of data for multiblock analysis. It also presents the example that uses a simulated data set for showcasing some of the possibilities of the ANOVA ASCA method.
