Overview of Crow Search Algorithm

Abstract Crow Search Algorithm (CSA) is a swarm intelligence optimization resolving schemes. Its optimization method simulates the behavior of crows tracking each other. The paper elaborates the basic principle of the algorithm, discusses the main parameters affecting the algorithm performance, and analyzes the search mechanism of the algorithm. The improvement strategies of the algorithm are summarized. Examples are given to illustrate the application of the algorithm in 0-1 knapsack problem, Image processing, Scheduling issues, feature selection and parameter optimization. Finally, according to the research and application status of crow search algorithm, the future research and development direction are prospected.
