Selection of Software and Hardware Components of Devices Designing a Mesh Network Using Bluetooth 5.1

The development of wireless technologies largely determines the standard of living of a modern person. To date, many different wireless data transmission protocols have been created. The paper focuses on the Bluetooth 5.1 wireless communication standard. The purpose of the work is to determine the optimal software and hardware components of devices necessary for the design of a mesh network based on the selected wireless communication standard. The paper selects the data transmission protocol, presents the structure of the mesh network, tests the network operability in the conditions of an industrial reinforced concrete facility, and also considers the issue of introducing a microprocessor implementation of individual nodes into the network structure.
