Recognition of Human Movements From Video Data

Abstract Various approaches to the problem of recognition of human movements from video data are analyzed. The problem is considered in two settings: learning with a teacher and learning without training (zero-shot learning). For the given approaches, an analysis of their properties is presented and their commonality with approaches to natural language processing is indicated. Special attention is paid to the use of additional modalities and work in conditions of a lack of labeled data.
