A thorough comparison of opportunistic routing protocols is essential for deciding the proper routing strategy for diverse opportunistic network applications. This study looked at the effectiveness of EPIDEMIC, Spray and Wait, Prophet, Prophet-Snw, Simbet, Simbetts, and Bubble-Rap routing protocols. This empirical study makes use of the Adyton simulator. This study compares the results of predicting the behaviour on Delivery Probability, Average Delay, and Overhead Ratio using various mobility models, along with real-world mobility traces having different buffer sizes. Simbetts outperformed all other protocols in practically all cases, according to the simulation.
