Due to dynamic topology of mobile ad-hoc network it is necessary to provide strong security mechanism since it is highly required in sensitive applications like healthcare, military, etc. Detection of non-trustable (malicious) nodes is essential to make the network robust and prevent the network from unknown attacks. Therefore Authentication based Associate Neighbor Node Selection (AANNS) protocol is proposed. Here node associate rate is identified in basis of received signal strength and energy level of the nodes. Therefore the trustable route is created through the evaluation of node’s associate rate. Simulation analysis is carried out to prove the efficiency of the proposed scheme.
